Children's Theatre

About our program:

Ninety Miles off Broadway’s Summer Children’s Musical Theatre has completed its sixth season of one of a kind, original programming. It is our goal to help children reach their fullest potential both on and off the stage, while fostering a safe, fun, and educational program for all who participate.

It does not matter if the young actor is a veteran of the stage or brand new to theatre, all levels of performers are welcome to our Summer Musical Theatre group. Under the direction of our highly regarded and professional production staff, our young actors have a rewarding theatrical experience and are taught to develop their voice, imagination, positive attitude, and to preserve the traditions of theatre for future generations. As well, our young actors will learn the differences between acting and reacting, stage terms such as; "Projection", "House", "Set", "Props", "Strike", "Spike", "Pit", "Up Stage" and "Down Stage", etc.

Along with being on the stage, children are encouraged to participate in other aspects of producing a high quality show, including backstage, set design, costumes and props.

Auditions for the Ninety Miles off Broadway Children’s Musical Theatre performances are held late June each year, with show dates in late July.
