90 Miles off Broadway presents awards.

Each year 90 Miles off Broadway presents a monetary award to one or more local high school seniors to be used towards their higher education. Students receiving this award are those who have shown an interest in theatre by his/her participation in 90 Miles Productions – either main stage or children’s summer theatre, as well as other community and school productions.

This year, the 90 Miles Theatre Scholarship was awarded to two talented
New Paltz High School students – Kara Ramos and Cassie LaRussa.

Ramos has been involved in the 90 Miles Children’s Summer Theatre, on and off stage for three productions. She had a lead role in one, saved the day by stepping into the role of narrator at the last minute for a benefit performance to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation in another and helped out backstage with theatre games during free time for another. She has also been on stage in all of her high school productions.

LaRussa has continually been involved with theatre through The Arts Community, 90 Miles Main Stage Productions – Meet Me in St. Louis and 40 Years of 90 Miles, as well as many high school productions.

Congratulations Kara and Cassie!!!
